The people of Deibiri community in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State have urged the state government to resettle them in their ancestral homes 20 years after they were displaced.
They lamented that they were chased away as a result of a communal clash between the Ogbe-Ijoh and Aladja communities.
They said on Saturday that they were tired of living as refugees and wanted to be reunited with their homes and loved ones.
Their leader, Igetei Bob Wellington, lamented that despite several panels set up by previous administrations, the state government had refused to relocate them to their original homes.
