The Group Managing Director, FBN Insurance, Mr. Val Ojumah, has said the firm will continue to promote the welfare of the insuring public through its innovative products.
He said this during a programme to showcase some of the products of the company in Lagos.
Ojumah also noted that the company had continued to respond promptly to its clients’ claims in order to give financial succour to accident victims and other claimants.
According to him, the FBN flexible education plan helps concerned parents plan for the future education of their children, whether alive or not.
“It is to ensure that education, which is a burden for most families in Nigeria, is absolutely taken care of,” he said.
He said the plan could be used to fund the children’s primary, secondary or tertiary education.
Ojumah noted that the easysave was an annual renewable savings plan to help achieve short -term targets and provide guaranteed interest rate on savings.
According to him, the firm also has general insurance products that offer fire and special peril cover, which provides indemnity to the insured in the event of loss or damage to property covered as a result of fire outbreak, lightning, explosion, flood/water damage and impact damage.
The group managing director explained that its motor insurance was designed to protect vehicle owners against various risks associated with vehicle ownership.
According to him, the homeowner insurance is an insurance cover for buildings against fire, theft and other perils.
“Plant all-risks policy covers unforeseen and sudden physical loss or damage to plants/equipment requiring repairs or replacement from any cause not specifically excluded by the policy,” he said.
He said the firm’s personal accident insurance policy would provide compensation to the insured and/or their dependants in the event of death or injuries.
